Took this back in 2014 at Little Sable LH just south of Silver Lake Park in Lower Michigan.
If I remember correctly it's a 15 second exposure at around ISO 3000? and I light painted the non working Lighthouse with a hand held spot light.
Sheboygan, and Port Washington, Wisconsin light pollution can be seen across Lake Michigan around 70 miles away.
On the corner of W. Washington Street, and So. Front Street, I took this exposure on a windy October night in 2014. You can see the left stop light has movement blur from the wind.
Is that a Snapping Turtle? looks huge? anyways cool shot
Really nice series, First time I have seen this species.
Are they a somewhat rare bird or just elusive to capture?
Really Nice, I never seem to capture birds very well, thanks for the addition to the files of Ugly Hedgehog.
Took this shot of the Chesapeake & Indiana RR's SD9m's sleeping in the cold March night near Wellsboro, IN. March 04, 2018 minor edits in Affinity Photo.
Yes it is an F9A as all the ex Erie Mining Co. F units are F9A's and F9B's
One issue that might make a buying decision to stick with OEM is that Nikon may not repair a camera that had non OEM batteries used in it at their discretion plus if damage is caused by an OEM battery then repairs to camera may be repaired for free except shipping charges, also OEM batteries have been recalled by Nikon at no charge for exchange, I doubt non OEM Mfgs. Would extend that courtesy or help resolve damage to camera due to any fault of theirs.

I'm not aware of a VRII version.
Second gen VR is the recent offering by nikon now, first version had the manual and auto focus lockout ring that you had to press a chrome button on barrel to rotate ring to manual or auto, plus it was slow to autofocus but none the less a great lens, I haven't tried or bought the new version to really give my two cents worth, I use the early VR 80_400mm on my Nikon F5 and D3 and love it.
Why not buy a 77/72mm step down ring for around $10 I have several Singray 82mm filters and use a 82/77mm step down ring with no loss in filter quality or vignetting
