Thanks for the feedback. I think I will wait a while on this investment.
I am thinking of buying this lens. I know it's not the latest update. The reviews are all positive, but old. Have any of you hoggers ever used this lens and if so, what do you think of it. It's a little pricey, but is it a good lens overall? Thanks in advance. I appreciate all input.
Take a look at then taillight lens. The model year should be imbedded in the part number, ie., mgpt53 indicates model year 1953.
I have a very nice collection of Nikon lenses and a D800 that I no longer use. Many filters and Nikon accessories. My investment is over $12,000. I will part with this for $5,000. Satisfaction guaranteed. Money back. If your interested, let me know and I will send you a detailed inventory. ddayz@comcast.net
This is a self-inflicted wound, but nonetheless painful. I somehow hit a setting that applies all the same adjustments to all the pix I download, e.g.. when I download a batch of pix and go to the Development module and click on a picture, the sliders for exposure, contrast, saturation are preset to a value that is not neutral. I am able to change all the values, but it would be nice if I could look at the photo just as it comes out of the camera. How do I eliminate these preset adjustments? It is quite frustrating and I have tried all the tricks I know. Thanks in advance. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
When I shoot in RAW with a Sony RX10 lll Lightroom does not import the image. JPEG with the same camera is fine. When I use a Sony alpha camera in RAW, no problem with the import. There must be an adjustment needed to the RX10. Does anyone know what I should do? Thanks in advance. This is very frustrating.
This problem just started. I plug my card reader with a SD card in it with pictures into my iMac. A preview of the pictures show up on the monitor. I click on the import button and I get a screen that says "Some import operations were not performed." Then it says "The following files were not imported because they could not be read. (56) This is followed by a list of 56 files described DSC3451.JPG, etc. What could be the problem? Did I somehow change a setting? Thanks in advance. Any suggestions are appreciated. This is very frustrating. I even tried a new card reader with the same results
How depressing. I think you just found a cure for chroonic GAS. Great photo!!!
MT Shooter has spoken. No need to read further.
Thanks, Jerry
That was very helpful!
Hi, Hogs
Do any of you tech sorts know if the sensors in either the Nikon 800 or the Sony a7R is sensitive to infrared so that one could shoot infrared with a filter.
Thanks in advance for all your expertise.
Great use of light and dark. A real winner!!
