when photographing moving objects it's all about FOCUS I don't care if you focus on the eyes or the ass. If your focus is off or blurry hit the delete button...... no amount of pp will help.....now how do you achieve that tack sharp focus.

1. use a 1000lb tripod...there heavy but stable.
2. use a very fast prime lens....there expensive but if you hit the lotto who cares.
3. buy a canon camera.........their focus system is second to none....and only a couple of bucks more.

I'm a pentax owner but it seems to me that canons lock focus and hold it much better than other brands.

I may be wrong....... opinions are welcome

The focus on my NIKON D7100 is dead on...Thank you very much

As usual we now heard from the left-wing socialist side of the forum rushing in to protect his president and good Ole wind-bag Hilary. Let Hilary tell you how it went down...

"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest, or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans..." don't own up to the truth because the fact that four American's have lost their life dose not matter. Let the dead take care of the dead, eh? It was a bad movie that caused their death, not my fault, tough luck for those boys, right? That is what she is saying. Don't blame me, that's not my fault. Now, lets direct your attention away from the truth, let me give you something else to think about, what happen in the past has happen, nothing can be done about that now, lets see what we can do to prevent it from happening again. Don't think about the mistakes I made, that does not matter, let's look at a different way of thinking about it because we don't want to blame me nor the president.
Get will dpullum, because it does matter. Four deal Americans and Hilary wants to pass it off as if it does not matter.

I think you are comparing 2 different lenses.

AF Nikkor 70-300 1:4-5.6 G

Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR

I agree....the later (Nikkor AF-S 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G IF-ED VR) is a great lens...And I have seen nothing but rave reviews for it.

just my .02

INEPTOCRACY
(in-ep-toc'-ra-cy)

A system of government where
the least capable to lead are
elected by the least capable
of producing, and where the
members of society least likely
to sustain themselves or succeed,
are rewarded with goods and services
paid for by the confiscated wealth of
a diminishing number of producers.....

This is one of the dumbest posts I have ever read. They are not even close to "imposing" their beliefs. If a store is closed on Sunday, are they imposing anything on anyone?

Anyone who has been in the photographic field for more than a few weeks knows the B&H policies. Hardly a big deal.

You have come out of your closet - you are a bigot. I am so disappointed in you.

Just awful news from Newtown, Connecticut. My heart goes out to all the families, teachers and pupils who are having to come to terms with this appalling act of indiscriminate murder. Any chance you guys might finally get around to putting the guns away?
