I also use a scooter and find handle bar mounts useless. I use a mono-Pod if not shooting freehand. Camera neck strap adjusted so camera sits on my lap. Articulating view finder a real plus. I use the Nikon P-500 as it is light weight and I don't have to fool with lens changes. Always carry a PS in my basket also. The mono-pod allows you to do selfies as well as being able to raise the camera up to shoot in a crowd.
Hope this helps!
I use DROP BOX which is cloud based and it is free.
The problem you are experiencing is because you are using the single shot mode. Switch to the burst mode after reading your manual again. Nikon makes it easy, there is a button on the top to quickly switch to burst mode while in the P position. You have a good camera.
Thanks,
Found it right away. Seems it was right under my nose but I tore my hair out yesterday looking for that function!

I am looking to print vertically in the TEXT mode. Does anyone know if this is possible? I cannot find any reference in the books.
The thing I admire about Phil's photos are not only do you see some interesting techniques but the pictures show the critters in action shots.
Phil had one shot that made me wonder how he was able to get the shot of a gator walking toward the camera taken from looked like a one foot level. He explained that he used a remote trigger on a camera mounted on a low tri-pod. Seems he has been visiting that swamp so often he can predict where the gators may show up.
I got a lot of good ideas from your imaginative work.
Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations- I know you own the P510 and always wondered what the difference would be if under the same conditions and same subject, a photo was taken between a super DSLR and the bridge camera.
Looking forward to your posts -
Nice shots as always.
I was wondering if you use a tripod?
I have to show this to my wife when she asks why I don't use the VA benifits.
The book - "Picture Yourself learning Corel PaintShop Pro X4 worked for me. It is a continual learning process and I am always discovering new tricks to improve my images.
Be sure to check out Corel Paint Shop pro X-5 befor you buy. Easier to learn and under $100.
I am saving so much time now. Thanks for that tip. I tried the pic tool once and was one click away from getting the results. This sure makes things easier.
Thanks for bearing with me and resoling the problem.
Tom
I sent U a PM also.
Are you, let's say, cutting a person out of one photo and want to insert that person onto a different background which is another photo?
Yes - I then have to resize the cut person to fit the new picture. Is there a way to use the mouse wheel to size up or down while looking at the picture on screen. Then left click when done.
I am in Brookshire - Daniels and six mile 239-561-3540
Thanks for the reply- I am using pro-x4 and traping and copying from one photo to another. I then use the Image- resize and guess at the resize. Is there a way to have the new image visable on the screen and then resize it using the mouse wheel ?
