As a beginner all around, I decided to try the software I could afford and wondered if anyone knows of tutorials/videos for its use. Thank you ahead of time for any help

YouTube is a great place to start - I use paint shop pro and find this a great learning spot - also with the software you may have had a separate disc with some tutorials on and in the help tab links also are great with access to online help
Cheers

PaintShop Pro X4 is discontinued and PaintShop Pro X5 replaced it some time ago. The Ultimate X5 package is about $79 and comes with a complete multi-hundred-page operation manual as a PDF Acrobat file, a ton of support information and help menus, user boards to contact others for weird questions or problems, and video tutorials at Corel - as well as whatever you can find on Google.
PaintShop Pro X5 Ultimate is a very good choice, by the way.

I started out with PaintShop Pro...years ago and have progressed to the X5. I found the X5 to mimic a lot of Photoshop but on a much easier learning curve. I do not think you will be disappointed. One good way to learn is to duplicate a couple photos and then working on the duplicate (not the original) play around with all the settings and what what happens to your photo. Each time you open a setting make sure you check the box at the top right that says Preview on Image then you will see instantly what is happening as you move sliders etc. Its a fun way to learn what each one does. just always remember DON'T WORK ON THE ORIGINAL...Good luck and hope to see some of your work soon....
