Brand new and full of STUPID

Brought 3 forms with 2 presecriptions on each that needed my doctors signature to process through Escripts which handle prescriptions for veterans TriCare for life.

Brought them out there on the 26th of February to Records Release, showed them areas that needed filling out by my Personal Care Physician.

Come March 7th I call and nobody knows anything about my forms. Second call is to my docs nurse April and she says 'Oh yes, come out here (12 miles) in 2 hours and pick them up.'

I gave them an extra 1/2 hour and went out. Huh ? What papers? Repeat story, ask for April. 'Oh she's at lunch ( it's 2:30pm) Come back in 30 minutes.

At 3pm I go back and wait until 3:30pm when April comes out smiling and hands me the three sheets of paper. I look at them and ask "Will they believe the signature on the top page is also applicable for the 2 other pages which are blank?"

April huffs and takes my 3 sheets. I wait another 1/2 hour and she comes back smiling and gives me the papers. The 2nd and 3rd do not have the same signature on them as the first. She says 'No Problem'

I'm going to go back out tomorrow, the 11th and ask April to give the forms to the Doctor again so he can fill in the part that says 'Doctor/Prescriber' Name - Address - Phone or Fax'

Wonder how long that will take and if someone there speaks and also reads english.

Oh - and now the good news. April says Dr Stein is no longer my Personal Care Physician. I asked her 'Who Is'

Her reply - None have been assigned yet but you'll be notified before your next appointment.

When is that?

13 of January 2014.

Hope I don't need to talk to a doctor before then.

Sarge,I'm glad that after reading your problems with the VA
that when I applied for VA benifits that they told me that they were sorry,that I waited too long to apply for benifits.
I served our country in 1963-1966
My comment to the VA Rep. "So I guess you won't bury
me when I die cause I waited too long?"

Ya, because problems with agent orange or stress manifest themselves within 24 hours. Any longer than that, you can't apply for benefits.

I have an upper plate because in basic training the visit to the dentist resulted in extraction of all my upper teeth because the dentist said 'You have soft teeth and it's better to make you a plate rather than expend time and money keeping your own teeth in shape with fillings'

VA says that doesn't count toward a new plate because it was for the good of the service so no dental coverage. j

Funny how all the bottoms lasted from 1960 until 2013 fairly well.

I'd read it and reapply it says nothing about waitin to long to apply, if all else fails contact your local congressman n explain n see if he cant still a fire under their ass . Hope you get the benefits you deserve for your service to our country, thanks for your service .
