My first thought when saw picture was "Chevy". Still think so as any badge discrepancy I would attribute to different country of manufacture.

Looks like the rear suspension is using stock style leaf springs. Is the front suspension still stock? Beautiful car & stock or modified, it looks great. I always like to see these old cars lovingly cared for & used.

Q: Why don't women fart?
A: They never stop talking long enough to build up any pressure.....

Great one! Must remember!! Also remember that women might not appreciate the humor, so use at own risk!!

This rig is really a great work of art. Love those rectangular exhaust stacks. Definitely a one of a kind. Just think about all the attention you would gather driving this rig around town. The guy who built it up is a REAL artist.

This looks like someones idea of a "classy" Rat Rod. Hope he kept a Ford drivetrain. It does show some real creative nature, but can't tell much from picture as to builders mechanical craftsmanship. No doubt it would be a real head turner.

Are you denying that some of the illegals being permitted to enter the US have tested positive for COVID? Then you believe the local Dallas/ Fort Worth TV stations that have run stories with this info are lying! I don't buy that!

While I agree that it is time (maybe past time) to let our economy proceed to return to open & moving. That does not mean we can throw the masks away or forget care in people contact. As my Pharmacist daughter explained it, just because after the shots I am now fairly safe, I can still be a contagious carrier & expose others who do not yet have their shots. I am now wearing my mask, etc. to protect others, rather than myself.

"Air Conditioner"! Who knew! Saw one at a local car show just this last Summer.

Believe it or not they worked pretty good as long as still had water in them. They were basically a water cooler like you still see used in arid area's. Remember some road trips in 37 Chevy (and later a new 49 Chevy)with one of those sticking out the window. Cool moist air beat the heck out of 90+ degree hot air.

For those interested in additional info on memory cards I would recommend "WWW.cameramemoryspeed.com". There is major info on several types of memory cards including tests of lots of card & a great FAQ section which will answer a lot of questions. Most of my cards are SanDisk & after some info I will confine future card purchases to Toshiba & SanDisk as they are made in Japan, Not China. Note that Lexar cards are made in Utah. I also learned a lot about different grades or quality levels of cards. Strongly recommend a look at this site to become a more informed consumer of memory cards.

Recently viewed several museums in Lawton area. Best was Artillery Museum at Fort Sill with second place a tie between Fort Sill History Museum & the local County Museum. I spent several hours in Artillery Museum & could have spent more but wanted to catch some of other museums. Artillery Museum had several centuries of artillery history with some of early items depicted in photo's or drawings. Lots of things for last 2 centuries were available to see in real exhibits. One of the best museums about war equipment, development & use.

Dr. Sowell is a brilliant economist, while also being a man whose thoughts are traditional, sound & logical. Search his name on "you tube" & you will find many in detail interviews where he is interviewed on various diverse topics. I find his talks informing & entertaining, whether I agree with him or not. Any time you spend reading his articles or books or listening to him will time very well spent. I was not aware of his skills in photography so will have to do an internet search.

I think that most of the time they do fairly well, BUT, as the posts show they also fail in a spectacular manner all to often. For example in the month before Christmas I had one package that took 3.5 weeks from NJ to Denver. It returned to one town twice & saw enough miles wandering around to make 2+ trips to Denver. I received a package yesterday that had been projected to deliver Saturday, so 4 days to cover 1500 miles. In January they lost a package & I have never received it. Government efficiency!

I have a Kodak Scanza ($159 at amazon). Scanned over 400 slides over Christmas. Scans to memory card (You choose size) & then transfer from card to computer. You can feed the slides thru scanner quickly. Time required to get these slides on computer was sorting & deciding which slides to scan, as actual scanning time was minimal. I also have an Epson V600 to use for the hundreds of photos I also need to scan, but time to scan these slides spent loading & unloading Epson scanner hardware would be far greater than Scanza.
I also used the Scanza to scan negatives for some photos we wanted scanned. Worked great, just needed different settings on scanner. I have not compared quality of scan using both scanners on a few select slides. I will try this soon & post results. For now the results of the Scanza scans are fully adequate for my purposes. I have 60+ years of my photos/slides plus other family taken pictures to digitize so speed is as important as quality.
