I don't think there is a comedian alive who hasn't made us laugh by pointing out the differences between men and women.
I was invited to see a couple's new house yesterday. There was me, the couple, and one other woman. As we sat inside and then outside, the two women talked non-stop. I got a word or two in edgewise, but it was a struggle. I could never find a clear opening in the female conversation. I looked over at the husband, and he was just sitting there, watching the women talk. That's what men do.
It's the same with my painting group. It's mostly women, and they all talk at the same time while painting. Since the pandemic, they have been meeting on Zoom. I get it started, and hang around for a few minutes, but it's the same thing. They all talk for ninety minutes straight. I don't even try to say anything. Women seem to have a knack for knowing how to cut into the ongoing conversation. I would wait for a lull to say my piece. With women, there never seems to be a lull.

What I've noticed, Jerry, is that women instinctively know what each other are going to say by the middle of the sentence, so they jump right in with their new contribution. Men, however, tend to wait until somebody is done speaking before talking. Since women never do finish what they're saying when with one another, a guy just doesn't have a chance. In a group like a painting group? Forget it!!!

I do that too (jump in the middle) and my wife hates it.

Have you ever noticed how many words a woman uses ton say some thing? It takes a paragraph to relate one sentence.
