These are lovely and IMO very well done. I've done this manually, but never on the computer.

I'm amazed by the stone work in that structure. Nicely captured.

I think they are all very well done. My particular favorite is the tree. It's extraordinary.

Scenes like that are what made me fall in love with Montana.

Thank you for asking. I write poorly, IMO . I will try to start a page of tips and tricks in the new future. Ed

Though there's an enormous amount of archaeology (mainly prehistoric rock art, but several Ancestral Puebloan structures, too, within a mile or so) in the immediate area, this structure in entirely 'modern.' I don't know who built it, when exactly (most likely in the 1970-80's), or whether there's any significance (other than being design elements incorporated to showcase the builder's superb craftsmanship) to any of the designs. Some of these questions could probably be answered, but the closest neighbor (a hundred yards away?) is something of a pain in the butt. Can't really fault the guy, though; tourists are constantly stopping and trespassing on his narrow strip of land between the river and the cliffs.

Thanks, Cany. Just the type of info I was hoping for.

I had a lot of trouble choosing between these two. I like them both. That's why I asked if I could vote twice.

I really like all of these. The cedar waxwing has become one of my favorite birds, strictly on the images posted here. I've never seen one in reality. I really like the lines of the trees in that image with the beautiful little bird sitting in the midst of them. The first one is a lovely study in simplicity. The few leaves hanging on look like someone decorated the branches. It's nice that there are so few of them, but they are lovely decorations. The third is stunning. I love those deep blue skies we westerners have, and this image really features that. The contrast of the red berries with the blue sky is really nice. These are all studies in simplicity, which to me is quite lovely.

Lovely detail. This is a great companion to your red shot.

That is beautiful and intricate stonework. Is it Pueblo? And do you happen to know the significance of the encircled design?

That is stunning. I've looked at it several times and for a long time each. It is so beautiful.

You do these so well. You inspire me to get out there and shoot the mountaintops around me.
