Very nice, eye-catching picture. Only one problem: I must be too old; l cannot see why it is incomplete.

It --the structure-- is incomplete because it was never finished, and was never occupied (by other than mice?). Its just a facade.

Okay, but we can't understand your title or narrative from the photo.

Okay. Metaphors, similes, allegories, allusions, and even word-plays can admittedly be difficult to understand. It just seemed to me that 'An Unfinished Dry Laid Stone Structure Located Beneath A Ledge Near King's Bottom Along The Colorado River Near Moab' as a title might be a little long. Beyond that, I'm not a stone mason but I'd have to call the dry laid and very intricately placed stone (at least) among the best I've seen. Granted, I do not know what plans the builder/owner may have had for the structure, and what got built may have sheltered more than mice, but I'm relatively sure those plans were never completed.

Next time I'll try to be more obvious.

I really light the lines, textures and use of light, Jim! You continue to have a good eye (even with cat litter air in your house now).

Incomplete, but what's there will most likely last longer than all of us

It has meaning to Jim! Our understanding is secondary; we were not there.

No, I didn't think your description was obscure at all ... just incorrect. I think the builder purposely left it that way so some future Master Artist could use it to create a masterpiece. Thank-you, Master Jim.

Excellent example of stone mason, with an arrow pointing to the sun.

This is one wall that would look great hanging on another wall.
