Something about the file did not register as being closed. If it is an image file, try opening it and see if it will. If it does then try saving it under a different name. See if that new one will copy and is okay. Then make a small change to the existing file and see if it will then save. Then try to copy it. If not, then you can just skip the bad one or delete it if it still won't copy.

HP has some laserjet printers that can print a rather high DPI output which can help when printing things with a lot of detail. They can also print on a variety of different types and thicknesses of paper.

Yeah right. It sounds like you're justifying not even putting in the effort to learn your craft. Why not just give everyone a college degree while you're at it? After all they deserve one just for being alive. Who needs all those stupid books anyway?

Sorry that you completely missed my point.

Why bother even learning how to use a camera or PP to put forth your vision? Why bother leaving your house? I want a camera where I can just sit on the couch in my home in MD and trip the shutter and my camera takes an AI picture of the Faroe Islands with AI crashing waves and AI sunrays and AI clouds.

There's nothing or no one that says you have to use any of it. Some are not as proficient in PP as perhaps you are, and they may find AI a blessing for the help it gives them. Some prefer a straight shift and others an automatic. In either case it gets them where they want to go, and no one is the lesser for using either.

Check out Dell. They have an outlet store for overstocks and refurbished units that carry the same warranty as new ones.

My guess from what I see on here is that there are a lot of people who would like to have an option of just Lightroom or Lightroom and Photoshop. I'm betting there are a lot of subscribers like me who never or very seldom use Photoshop.

Suggest you check out Dell's Outlet store for refurbished gaming laptops. They have the same warranty as a new one. I'm using one right now. The warranty is an onsite next day repair and for a few dollars more you can add additional years and accidental damage as well.

Does it happen with every card you insert or just this one? If it's every card you may have some dirty contacts on the media card or the camera.

It is neither your place or responsibility to correct someone's grammar on this site. To do so publically is also extremely rude, and makes you appear to be an intellectual elite. If I have made a grammatical error in this post feel free to ignore it.

I got attacked by a rooster once while photographing him, and he cut the hell out of my shins with his spurs. Check them out on the download.

For some unknown reason the COVID quarantine has backed up phone calls and emails responses. With folks working from home you would think that calls should still get answered. But maybe the home distractions are too much.

With more people at home, maybe they are just getting a lot more requests for help. I often find a chat session quicker if they are available.

Years ago the recommended action was to leave drives running once they were up. The drive technology has changed a lot and there isn't any real reason for that anymore. The drives retract and lock the heads so quickly now that it isn't a problem. The best thing you can do for your computer and these drives is to have them on a UPS to keep power fluctuations at a minimum. Lousy power and heat will do more harm to your equipment than anything else.
