Ive never heard of sod-der.
'Sod it' is sort of a polite cus here in New Zealand, like when you hit a finger when using a hammer and the grand children are watching.
Sod der could be miss heard as 'sod her' with the NZ accent involved. Not a good one.

I guess my mind wanders into that same gutter. Sodder, one who sods, could start a whole nother row.

Try the Canon website: compatibility list includes every type of paper known to man, CDs, and DVDs; no canvas. I’ve had mine for about 6-7 years; printed several thousand photos on about a dozen types of paper; no cd or dvd. Damn near ever one passed the ultimate test, and was given a thumbs up from the wife. WTF more can you ask from a less-than-$300 printer? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Robert Horton - was he Ward Bond’s Exec on Wagon Train?
Gilbert Roland played an Apache, of course. Just one more in a long line of White actors playing “Indians”. Who can forget Rock Hudson as Taza, Son of Cochise 🤦🏻‍♂️

I used to live near the Fermi lab in Batavia Illinois. It has the acceleration rings 1 mile diameter with superconducting electromagnet for many years.

That explains a lot 👹👹👹

The centerpiece is the famous 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card. It's expected to go for more than $10 million, and be the most expensive card ever sold. That is over my credit card limit. I guess I won't be bidding.

I had two of them when I was a kid, along with a whole lot of other stuff.
My mom got rid of EVERYTHING that was in my closet while I was in the Navy. “Mom, I was on a friggin aircraft carrier, not in the jungle; I didn’t die!!!!!!”

So, where did the engineers go back to before the invention of the drawing board? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Makes me wonder why the ink cartridges are still so expensive. I’m sure the ink used in them is not that much more costly to produce (probably the same ink as in the bottles) and the cartridges themselves don’t appear to be an elaborate piece of machinery.

[quote=SteveR]I like to pull up Marty Robbins on YouTube and just let his songs go from song to song. So many great ones. Here is, perhaps, the ultimate sad cowboy romance, El Paso.

Here's one of his non-western songs that was one of his best. Singin' the Blues.

I always thought of “Singin’ the Blues” as a Sonny James song

Most of the cameras I've bought cost less than that. If I can't justify the cost, I don't spend the money. I was in Stewart's buying two half gallons of ice cream on sale. As I was leaving, a father and daughter were also leaving. Each one had a double-scoop ice cream cone, and I bet they paid more than I did. I'd pay $3.39 for a half gallon, but I wouldn't pay $3.50 (or whatever) for two scoops.

Four hours on a train, $700 for a few hours' sleep, some conversation with friends I've been seeing on a regular basis for sixty years - no, I can't justify this.
