Try the Canon website: compatibility list includes every type of paper known to man, CDs, and DVDs; no canvas. I’ve had mine for about 6-7 years; printed several thousand photos on about a dozen types of paper; no cd or dvd. Damn near ever one passed the ultimate test, and was given a thumbs up from the wife. WTF more can you ask from a less-than-$300 printer? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks, the answer to the paper setting for canvas on the ip8720 remains a mystery.

Who makes the paper you are printing on? If it is other than Epson, find the paper mfg driver for your printer using that paper. Epson paper will be usable, you just cannot load an Epson specific driver into a Canon printer.

I have printed on textured art paper... Canson XL Series Oil and Acrylic Paper Pad, Bleed Proof Canvas Like Texture, 24 sheets 126# 9x12 paper about $11 on Amazon. It is also available as 11x14

AzPicLady Loc: Behind the camera!

My Canon printer (not the model you call out) specifically does NOT print on canvas. I've tried it, and the results were terrible! I know their ultra-wides accept canvas.
