Me pursueing one of my other hobbies. I also play bass and take my dog out for cheeseburgers.
#2 certainly blows any of my hummers out of the air as it were. That is a great shot.
I wonder if France would mind me using the Eiffel tower as a tripod?
I think some grandparents are going to find themselves very happy.
Wow...I'd love to see the whole collection. I love Betty too and have all her movies (cartoons). I love the music from that era.
Thanks for the advice Ian. I'm actually going to be camping in the Nantahala Gorge just past Bryson City. I'm hoping to get some good fall folliage pictures and if I get a chance would like to experiment with some water fall pictures. My time will be limited though because most of my days will be spent kayaking down the Nantahala river.
Those are very nice. It's a shame you didn't get to stay longer. I'm going to be in Bryson City next week. Where can I find these falls?
Because you reminded me of that movie and it made me smile. Sorry if I offended.
Thanks Tracey. He's one of the major hold backs to my photography. He has to go everywhere with me and isn't very patient when I stop to take pictures.
I read a tip from another forum recently that recomends if you want steam coming off the food, heat some wet cotton balls in the microwave and then place them behind the plate out of sight.
Actually Bob, that is not how the quote goes, but this being a family oriented forum I won't post the correction....lol
Here is another one I caught at just the right moment. Unfortunately the sun is behind him but I had only just turned the camera on pointed and shot.
I second BRobb's welcome. I love my T3i. I have Bryan Peterson's book "Understanding Photography-Field Guide" but I think it's a little more advanced than I am. I also have "Canon Rebel T2i for Dummies" which has helped alot since there's not much difference between the two camaras.
Now I'm off to Amazon to get "Understanding Exposure."
What I need though, and this you can't find in a book, is a good eye....lol.
Wow! Some really great pictures on this thread.
I took this a couple years ago with my old Canon Power Shot SD500. Just a point and shoot but I miss that old camera. And yes the elephant did get the branch and eat it.
