Maybe Santa will put one in your stocking(s). Hope you people can figure out how to tote it around. :-)

I gotta get me one of those. How cool would that be to take photographs of actual planets? Probably wouldn't fit into the household budget LOL. Plus I'm sure Freud would have something to say about that. LOL

Maybe the crop frame model will be under $100 million

I wonder if France would mind me using the Eiffel tower as a tripod?

Doubt they are concerned with bokeh. Seems everything might be in focus beyond a few light years out to 12 billion.
Probably has a DOF preview....lol

The LSST's 3.2-gigapixel camera will consist of 189 CCD ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light-sensitive sensors, cost roughly $170 million, and have enough resolution to spot your car's headlights at a distance of 400 miles.

Just what I need for the next time I forget where I parked!

Of course they will. It should only cost a hundred million a week. Shouldn't be a problem. Oh, and they will want American wine too!
