I know I paid more than $3.26 a roll for the same film in 1980 that costs $12.00 a roll today. But I'll take a $12.00 64GB SDXC card over a roll of film, today.

Practicing optimum nutrition also contributes to good health and may prolong life.

Controlling blood pressure with one small pill every day will remove the stress on bodily function and thus prevent early demise.

Losing weight if overweight will reduce the wear and tear on your body parts, thus preserving the quality of life. Do so by pushing the plate away when you feel full. This single action will reduce the intake of unnecessary calories without hunger.

Stop overdrinking alcohol. Stop doing drugs. You will thank yourself later for ending these abuses.

Drop the TV remote and get off the sofa. Take a short walk to stimulate yourself.

Almost all your health depends on you. Of course, see your medical doctor for your medical ills.

The human body has an amazing ability of taking care of itself…..if it is not abused.

The blind I was in on Friday evening is just beneath that camera. It is a spectacular view. The birds came in more towards 7:30. Thanks for posting the link.

You are welcome. I have been in that blind about three times. A pic of mine was on the cover of the 2020 or 2021 calendar.

Here are just a few of the 475,000 Sandhill Cranes that were coming in to roost on the Platte River in Nebraska this past weekend. By the time the migration is finished, it is estimated that close to a million birds will pass through an 8 mile stretch of the Platte on their way north. It has been called the greatest migration spectacle on earth. I don't know if it is or not, but I just call it magical to see and hear.

In Nebraska, the Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary has a "Crane Cam" that is wonderful way to view the birds leaving the river in the AM (5:00-6:00 AM) and the birds returning to the river in the PM (6:30-9:00 PM). Both times are Central Standard Time.

Nothing harder or. more sad than needing to close a school. I spent 35 years in public education and the board
and parents never found a good way to close a school.

For my own printing, I continue to use my Canon Pro-100 and will as long as it continues to work. I hang about a half dozen prints on my walls and change them out if and when I get new "wall hangers". I count as 'elderly' so the dye ink prints will last a lot longer than I will!

Me too.

Gonna let the snow let up a bit and then head out to Arizona for some warmth and sunshine. May swing by Grand Canyon N.P., depending on conditions, and who knows where else.

Probably some money to be had in some of the wood. People used to
pay dearly for such wood.

Dlewis: I’ve photographed the cranes west of Kearney a number of times. The only thing I would add to the good recommendations above is that there are several bridges across the Platte between GI and Kearney and these bridges can also be a good place for am and pm photos. neco

Hi new to the forum already made a couple posts though, I live in
Colorado. My main focus is birds and wildlife. I use a nikon z7ii I have one z lens the 100-400mm my other lens are f mount and i use with the ftz converter. I use Lightroom for my post processing and always shoot raw and in manual. I have been shooting for about 8-10 years and I am self taught. I am always up for suggestions as in how to improve my shooting as I’m the first to admit there is a lot i dont know.

I think you will like it here.
