[quote=Adamborz]Lol. I have a custom built desktop with 1 TB NVME SSD for boot and working. Then I switch all my stuff to a 2TB HDD. I can switch out the HDD if it gets full...I keep a back up of the SSD on the HDD. Transfer speeds from CF cards or SD cards via USB 3 is very fast to the SSD.. love it.
Your running with only one backup drive? Sounds like your removing your data from the SSD to the HDD. That leaves you with no safety backup should that one HDD should fail. Which they do on occasion. An extra or two backups if you make a mistake and delete some data by accident is nice to have. $90 buys a 4tb usb drive. Every byte of data I have is backed up on no less than four drives. There really is safety in numbers.
We live in a 55 and older place. A few grandchildren. The rest outsiders. Less than 25 kids all day and evening. After what I suspected was going to be the last kids, as they walked away I ran after them with hands full of candy for them to take. They were pleased. Don't need all that candy sitting around for us to eat.
It's not a win 10 problem. This being written on a win 10 computer. What usually happens is some ad-blocker, web browser safety setting that is preventing you from viewing a web page. This happens to often and can be frustrating to track it down. Try turning off of nannies one at a time until you find the one blocking you.
Yes safe your pictures in both raw and jpeg. Make sure though when you set your camera to save both that you make sure your jpegs are recorded at their highest quality. They can be recorded at different qualities.
I'm typing this on my HP ENVY i7 lowly 'ol' laptop. Where it's resting on my lap. :-) 99% of my computing is done here. The biggest use of my home assembled desktop computer is for paying bills. So much easier to write into a checkbook register. It also runs my HP laserjet printer and an Epson scanner. They don't fit anywhere near my recliner. Sorry! Laptops can be just about as powerful as a desktop but with a lot more convenience.
Any & all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Nikon AW100 - AN-CP23 Carrying Strap Would be great with your camera. I use two of those straps put together for a longer strap. Now back to that thingee. Use a dental floss threader or a piece of dental floss. I could send you a floss threader so you don't need to buy a package of them. Like using a needle threader except its made of nylon not stainless steel.
