Sorry for typos...phone keyboard too small.
I really like it for sharing larger jpegs with finicky family who want quality pics but dont get their email daily. Ive still got some rekatives that havent downloaded the app to open the shared folder, but most like this method of image transfer. I just rotate the images out every couole months to keep storage in check.
I shared the folders..so all is good. Thx
Ive been using it only few months now and it works great. However, afyer I share an album, what if I add new images to that album? Does Dropbox notify the invitees I shared with in the first place..or do I need to reinvite people each time/
Love the shot as is. Ive got 2 boys and know how hard it is to pry accessories from them when theyre so obsessed with them. My one son wore these red rubber.boots.even to bed. Lol. What minimum aperature is your nifty fifty?
I didnt do any trials...I just did extensive comparison research and settled with LR4 for its organizational structure. I formerly was using Picasa (free) and liked the file structure so I looked for thar in a photo editor. I really like LR cause it also imports and converts raws wih ease. I did more research, cause I'd like to do hdr, panorama and more artsy stuff beyond the basics, so Ive just purchased Photoshop Elements that can toggle with LRs images. Im hapoy with my setup.
Maybe he's looking for more viewpoints than what was submitted.....
Ive also got a 15" Macbook Pro. With laptops, you need to be aware of what angle youre viewing the screen. The colors change as you change the angle or move your viewing point. Ive figured out how to fix it, but there is a metal device out there that attaches to the screen limiting the angle so its absolute. I have the matte screen reg not retina.
Beautiful! I like the first image for its shadow definition.
Not all..LR and PSE are not in the lineup, I hear.
I just purchased a preset series called "enlighten" which is a complete workflow series from MCPactions.com. Im on the developers blog and one of her photog groups. Her presets/actions work with raw and jpegs, where some developers work with only one or the other. MCP had a whole array of actions for CS/PSE and a nice variety of presets fpr LR. The Enlighten series has some presets within it that are stackable...acting like a layer! The enlighten series was $125 but well worth it.
This series just takes my breath away! I love mono/sepia images b/c of shadow definition. What is the wet plate effect? I'd like to learn of it. I especially like the grungy affect of some images. How dis you Acieve that? I have layers in pse to get that look. Pleasr keep posting images...
Im a fan of mono b/c of shadow definition. I wouldve cloned out the tiny leaf at the base of the flower where it meets the stem. Beautiful lighting.
Thx rpavich. Good to know different ways of saving images. As I noted, pse does not let me execute the "save" command when exiting pse...only "save as". I figured out that LR already names the file with an apended -edit to the name as soon as I select "edit in" in LR. I selected the "save as" when done editing/flattenimg the image in pse...answer yes/ok to overwriting the image etc. I go back into LR and the apended file with the -edit in the name is right next to the raw in LR. Its wierd that I get the "save" greyed out in pse.
It doesnt let me just save. That area is grayed out, I can only save as and saves it back to where the original folder is and is also in LR catalog.
