Just found out about this application. Just wanted to know if there are any issues I should know ahead of time as to how it works, reliability etc. I just wanted to be able to load up several pictures that I'm sending to a friend, and being able to do it with just one email.

dropbox is a wonderful tool. my photo group uses it to send raw files to each other when we need a hand with editing.

I have been using it for about 6 mos. and have loaded it with photos, videos, documents and all kinds of stuff. Never had a problem (yet). It's great for showing your photos to potential clients without having to email them. Just have them meet you and show them. That way you don't have to worry about degrading the quality any in small email views, and you can show them 50 at a time if you want.

Go for it!! You won't be disappointed. In my opinion, it is the best of all on-line photo repositories. My ONLY issue with it is upload speed, but that isn't their fault. As with any internet connection, upload speed is always slow.

I use it all the time, no issue I'm aware of.

Ive been using it only few months now and it works great. However, afyer I share an album, what if I add new images to that album? Does Dropbox notify the invitees I shared with in the first place..or do I need to reinvite people each time/

You'll need to let them know there are new photos there, assuming you shared it by way of sending a link to the invitees. If you "Shared" a folder with them, and they went through the process of installing DropBox on their machine (which you have to do if a folder is shared with you), then when their machine syncs with DropBox, they'll get a notice on their desktop that new files were synced.

I love it. It lets me see my files on different computers, cell phone, and iPad. I've never used it for sharing, but that's an option.

I really like it for sharing larger jpegs with finicky family who want quality pics but dont get their email daily. Ive still got some rekatives that havent downloaded the app to open the shared folder, but most like this method of image transfer. I just rotate the images out every couole months to keep storage in check.

Great way to share with who you want to share with. It will even work on tablets and phones. They also like to give you extra space when you get others to join in.

I usually try to make sure that I'm sending a copy because if the person on the other end wanted to, they could edit and manipulate your image. That might be quite disappointing to you if, for instance, you sent them the original or an edited image that you had spent considerable time on, and didn't have another copy.

Been using this for about two years now, no probs whatsoever. From memory you start with 2gb increasing as you refer more people to the service. You can always buy more space.
