Any body in the market for the new Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Lens with Internal 1.4x Extender? You will only need about $12,000!

By the way I do like your shot "little river"
This is at least the fifth post on this lens in the last two days.
he really doesn't (lack a sense of humor) He's a great guy...but this has been posted 5 times in a few days and your post didn't even have a link in it...so i can see why he'd respond like that.

God, I must look at the forum more closely I missed the last four
Maybe he's looking for more viewpoints than what was submitted.....
I haven't looked much but wonder what the weight of it is, probably substanstial since the case is an extra $699 or something like that. Impressively expensive all the way around.
I'm sure thinking about it.
I hesitate to ask...but why would this lens be so expensive?

This is going to be one of Canons most wanted lenses. Of course the price will keep most away. But it will find its way into the bags of many many real pros.
built in 1.4 extender, f/4 and Canon quality. Making this the best 200-560mm lens available in the world. I have used it and compared it to a 150-600 lens that I have. As good as my 150-600 is, it doesn't compare. You do not need a lab to SEE what an additional $10,000 will get you. Faster auto-focus and sharper auto-focus.
