if you want a long lens that you can hand hold go with the Sigma 100-400 or the new Tamron 100-400. I have the Sigma and it's a well built but light weight lens that is tac sharp even wide open and you can't beat the price.
I have the Tamron 16-300 with my D7200 for my walk around lens and a Sigma 100-400 for more reach happy with both.
.
she looks like the ice queen in her frozen castle. I couldn't care less about what the media thinks. if it's anything Trump, they hate it. personally I think it looks great.
your lucky. most cars sold today don't come with a spare. my sister just bought a new Jeep Compass and instead of a spare there is a kit with a can of tire sealer.
don't want to spend 500.00 for a Nikon flash that I will use sparingly. used SB600's are still going for over 100.00 and I can get a more powerful third party flash new for less.
I'm getting up there in age but I can still hold my D7200 and Sigma 100-400 without a problem. they did not build it with a tri pod mount for a reason.
thanks guys. looking at the Yonguo..
for the Nikon users. is there any third party flashes the are compatible with the Nikon cls. I have a D7200 and also the R1C1 flash. great for macro but I want to use the commander for shots that need more light. can't see spending money on recievers and transmitters and Nikon flashes are a bit pricey.
for insects I would get a used macro of at least 90mm so you can shoot at a distance. I use a Sigma 105mm for most but my Tamron 180mm comes out for insects.
I'm leaving my oldest grandson all my photography gear. my youngest grandson gets all my fishing gear. not much I can do about anything else.
I have one also. haven't used it in years. awesome bag, but with my back problems it's just to darn big. now it just holds all my extra gear that I don't use much. I now use a rolling bag.
yeah, but how many throw out shots are you paying for? with digital you just delete. I remember shooting 36 shot rolls and I'd be happy with a couple of keepers. the others were just wasted money. nope, I do not miss film.
I haven't gotten my notice yet. thinking of dumping them anyway, more and more movies from India and Korea.
I use a Black Rapid strap. never a problem.
I went from a D300 to the D7200. I thought about the D7500 but the lack of a grip was a deal breaker. really happy with the 7200.
