I'm most interested about what you Americans think about what you are leaving your kids, never mind your grand kids.

Liberal press got you worried, Swede? I was worried when we had a President who put a Mao Christmas ornament on the White House Christmas tree.

Not worried at all. I am leaving them the best country on the planet. And they and people like them will take care of it. One is a Lt. Col. in the Marine Corps, and the other a Cmdr. in the Navy. Both consider it an honor and a privilege to serve their country.
The snowflakes may get the press coverage but the real Americans like my kids will keep this country just fine!

Liberal- my definition;; The boys come over to watch a hockey game, I'm pretty Liberal with the beer, when the press shows up- turn the sound up-" Anyone for another!!"

Your "leader" just let 60 ISIS terrorists into Canada last week. You would do better to pull your nose back in and worry about that!

You probably believe that 2 men (couple) or 2 women (couple)- adopted yet- should be raising someone else's kids, you dear are the liberal

Watch this then i'll listen to your comment, old, truer now,

Old one but good - just listen

Often our offspring suddenly appear distant or not eager for our company. We feel slighted; we consult therapists and counselors and discuss our state of mind on social media sites.

Our concerns, however, can be a tempest in a teapot. Parents may be making a big deal over what’s really a normal developmental stage. “Sometimes a kid is just sending the message, ‘I do like you, but I don’t want to be attached like glue’". "A parent shouldn’t interpret that as a sign of enmity.”

Either you, or I, missed the point of the thread.
My kids are fine-- this country is not.

Yes I'm worried. As Paul Harvey used to say, "America's the only country in the world where people are lined up, waiting to get in." On the other hand, I think America "peaked" back in the '60's when blue collar workers could afford to own a home and put their kids through college. Disregarding the worldwide problem of climate change and the mind-boggling deficit we're leaving our kids I see the disparity between the rich one-percenters and the rest of us growing wider, every day. The system is indeed rigged in favor of the wealthy and powerful leaving only enough crumbs to the rest of us to avert a full scale revolt. Oh yeah, I also think this is not only the case for America; I think it's worse in many other countries.
