Why not just put it on your house insurance as a rider?

Yes, I believe you're right.

I'm thinking the two center pictures of photo number 2 are Spitfires based on the shape of the wing tips and the position of the air intake on the Spitfire vs. Hurricane. That's my take on it but I'm more of a P-51, F4U and P-38 person.

Answer to Point #1 Not sure about mosquitos but flies actually do a sort of backflip onto the ceiling. They extend their forefeet above their heads, stick them to the ceiling and then rotate their bodies into place.
No answer for #'s 2 or 3. Sorry.

The fighters are Hawker Hurricanes and the bomber is an Avro Lancaster.

A cheap, waterproof solution I've used for years while ocean kayaking is a simple Tupperware container. It held my D7000 and now my D500 with never a problem. Another solution I used was a six-pack cooler case. Insulated and waterproof and has a hard plastic shell for protection as well as a shoulder strap.

The horizon is crooked. And there's a girl in the way.

Very nice. These birds are generally irritatingly shy and difficult to photograph, preferring to stay hidden in the branches. Well done.

That itinerary seems to just about cover everything there is to see. It looks good.

These soldiers were all heroes. I can't imagine what that must have been like. I hope we never again have to witness such an event. Thanks for sharing your photos.

My son and I visited the five beaches of Normandy last summer as well as the cemetery's and battlefields of the First World War. Now those are humbling on an unbelievable scale.

A German bunker at Juno Beach and what the beach looks like from it today. Try to imagine what it was like to cross that massive expanse of beach in the face of murderous machinegun fire.

Lunenbourg is a must as well. Mahone Bay is lovely too. If you do Cape Breton Isalnd as others suggested, stop off at Fort Loiusburg for at least half a day. The Citadel in Halifax as well as the Old Cemetery there are fascinating places. Many Titanic victims are buried there.
If you're driving to/from, be sure to stop at Hopewell Rocks across the bay in New Brunswick.

Ospreys seem to like plastic bags etc. I've seen that kind of thing in several nests of theirs including a long length of blue tarp in one.
