I have been researching bridge cameras on line for a while now and I am on information overload, so now I need to go to a brick and mortar store to actually hold the cameras, I also want their input. The answer I am looking for now has anyone used the Dodd Camera store in Mentor Ohio, I did not see their name mentioned here. Their prices are in line with Amazon and a few others I checked, but I do not know what their reputation is. Any help will be appreciated.
Dealt with the stores in Middleburg Hts. & North Olmstead before they closed, had no problems. The main one is in Downtown Cleveland. Campus Camera in Kent is great and quite knowledgeable.
Brings back memories, I'd worked at the boathouse ,back in the late sixties .
DO THEY TAKE THE MC ROKKOR OR MD ROKKOR LENSES ?
Magee is one of best places for birding in the Midwest , also Osprey and Eagles .
Lens is in good condition, includes lens caps and hood.PM me if interested. The price is $450 plus shipping in CON USA .
JACK ,I didn't think we had any in Ohio, but my brother said there's quit a few by Lake Erie . Where's Nimisila Metro Park ?
Jack, what's the bird in the the first & second photo and where were they taken ? Nice set
There's different Orders of the Amish including Mennites which are the higher order and they do use power saws, electricity and drive. I live in Spencer, Ohio where there are quite of few Old Order Amish communities with each having its own Bishops and bylaws , which include no electricity, buggies with no reflectors and windshields , and windmills to pump water to house and barns .
Then there's higher Order Amish and Mennites in Millersburg,Burton,Kidron, and Shelby, Ohio . Its funny to see brand new New Holland and John Deere tractors with steel wheels, no rubber tires in Shelby .Ohio has a large Amish community through out the state . Nice Set of pictures !
