Wonderful captures. Thanks!
I used The Darkroom once a number of years ago for a similar situation. The film I found, I'm guessing, was at least 50 years old. Surprisingly, they were able to pull off a couple of images - highly degraded, but usable. I don't recall what they charged, but seem to remember it being pretty reasonable. The turn around time was better than I expected, too.
I just love the classic car photos that you post! Thank you!
Heartbreaking........my wife and I have had five wonderful dogs. Lost the last one in May. I miss them all and think of them everyday.
My Dad was strictly a medium format guy and used a Ciroflex. After he passed, I inherited several cases of slides just like this. Thankfully, my mother did the difficult task of culling before finally giving them on to me.
Those slides ranged in age from fifty to seventy years. Luckily, I still had a projector to view them as they were intended to be seen. Unfortunately, the colors had started to seriously degrade, so a little at a time, I de-laminated them by removing the metal frame and then carefully separating the glass to liberate the transparencies. What a tedious job that was. It took me several months to scan, crop and color correct the slides, but the effort was worth it. I was able to save many precious memories.
This is the first time that I've encountered anyone who was the least bit curious about these rather unique items.
Where I live, the Camp LeJeune advertising pales in comparison to all of the political advertising that is almost 100% mudslinging. Personal Injury law firm advertising comes in at a close second.

Yes, The Voyage Home was my favorite Star Trek movie. Kind of made you think that maybe the human species is not the most intelligent in the universe, or even on this planet.
Personally, I liked First Contact the best. I appreciated the message that even brilliant scientists are fallible human beings that may drink too much! The Voyage Home was also excellent and runs a close second to The Wrath of Khan.

Had the same problem last week with an HP printer. Tried everything. Finally wiped everything about the printer off the computer and redownloaded from the HP site. That worked.
I've run into this several times myself. Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver software always seems to work for me, too. But it's a real PIA.......................
Great photo. I love the leading lines!
