Why does it matter if it works fine?

So what law do you have in the US that prevents you photographing and putting the result on this site ?
We get similar bull here in the UK to prevent you shooting school plays etc but I know of no law that prevents it .

just lay off the drugs and booze until you can read the manual ./.

Membership is usually in different categories so you would be deemed good or proficient in that aspect of photography. If you passed you would not be bad.

The only way you will find out if you are good is if you submit work to join one of the professional institutions .
BIPP MPA or RPS . The last one your work if reviewed by "experts " in front of an audience of about 800 most with binoculars !

splatbass.. The picture taken by the kids mother is fine..she does not claim to be a professional photographer and has no control of the background..its a successful grab shot. Kens picture is none of those things .
Of the readers of this thread less than 1.5% have commented . early on it was about 50/50 like/don't like but he ken lovers got so vicious the others stayed away.

PS the avatar is just an interesting one I spotted . Its difficult to find something to fit a 100x100 size and the signature just a statement of how IQ is calculated .just to make you think.
I have spent my life fault finding so perhaps I look at everything in terms of improving or correcting it.

PS as I made my website available in some of my posts that's 40,000 pics for you to criticise.
As for Copyright
1/ the item has to have merit . a squiggle on some paper has no merit . This photo has no merit in law.
2/ The infringed person must be able to show a loss. He could say his reputation has been damaged but any damage was self inflicted and he took no steps to prevent it being copied.He would need to show a sudden drop in earnings following the publication,
3/ It is only worth suing people who have the money to pay the damages. Not in this case.
5/ He would have the complication of suing in another country Not Trumpland.
6/ He may do better to sue UH as they have provided the means of reproduction and have failed to remove it .

I think he is a professional as he spends much of his time taking and selling photos though I suspect its still life ..people is a whole different technique.

The signature is just a statement of fact about how the normal curve of distribution applies to IQ ratings ..just a fact of life to make you think.

First the choice of background ..Clearly a motel room ..door with crash bar and a trouser press .Very professional .
The son clearly crouched unnaturally with the "Rockwell smile" . The object is to look pleasant not to overdo the smile aspect .

I am not a fan of old men touching young girls so the hand on the shoulder is a no no for me.
Daughter partially behind mum .good looks intimate , facial expressions good .the men rubbish.

I assume there was a bed in the room..how many times have we posed bridesmaids around a bride sitting on the bed? Or KISS .. mum on a chair and the family standing grouped around .

there is software update to use the 100-400 on the Z ..did you check if there is one for the 18-400

EL nikkor ....50mm so you got big close ups of the rings going up the fingers did you? Bride and father at the door from the altar ? Cake and table detail ? when was this 1970

If you are a qualified member of the BIPP or MPA you will have had to learn how to take a defect free photo . The camera is only a box on the end of your arm ,What you put in front of it is controlled by your brain (or your mouth if it contains people.) If you don't like what's in the viewfinder don't take the picture.
Look at Rockwells Christmas family photo if you want the worst photo ever taken.

picture control sharpness +9 ..all Nikons come out factory soft ..will not affect RAW
