All are good but the first one tops the others, I can see this as a large wall hanger.
Thank you for your kind words. I used a black cloth for the background. I knew before using it I would need to darken the blacks to get what I wanted in PhotoShop. I used the Canon R7, with the RF-S18-150. Exposure was 1/80 @ F-5.0 ISO 400. All were taken hand held. The light was a combination of daylight coming through a window and a small LED light to help with the shadows. I did use the R5 with the same lens for a few of the photos.
I ventured into the realm of still life photography. Not something I normally undertake. A large yellow pepper arrived in a box of other vegetables. It's odd shape seemed to demand I photograph it. I set up in my kitchen and had fun trying different angels.
A bit of a different angle, I like it!
Thanks for the reminder! Photos do a good job of showing this facility.
Zimanga in South Africa, it is a private reserve. Great for photography.
Great photo!! Fine color and pose! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks to all of you who have responded. I appreciate your comments.
I noticed one of my cats was peering intensely at something in the window. I looked and it was a large slug about 6 inches long. How it got there I have no idea, but it seemed to not be able to get out. As the window was in the direct sunlight I was concerned it would not survive. I opened the screen and got the slug out. Of course I had to take a few photos before releasing it.
I have recently acquired 2 Canon SXPS, one a 50 and the other a 60. Both have a problem with the lens extending. The 60 the lens will not extend when the camera is turned on. The 50 will extend part way. Both then have a message: Lens error will shut down automatically, restart camera.
Restarting the camera does nothing. If anyone out there has had this problem and found a solution, please let me know. The cameras have not been used for some time, but both have a fully charged battery.
I appreciate your time if you respond.
Thought this was a cute photo of a fox squirrel holding his front legs up. Sorry it is a bit fuzzy even after I had run it through Topaz A1.
Nice photo! Good eye to see and catch it.
