This morning I mounted my Godox V1 with modified Better Beamer intending to go for hummers but after waiting for about 25 minutes with no luck I decided to switch to song birds. Put out peanuts and oilers and it didn't take long for the activity to begin.
Flash brings out detail and colors when properly exposed. The Beamer provides the extra power to lower the out put and increase the FPS.
These are juvenile Blue Jays...two showed up...lucky for me since they are less timid than most adults. The flash duration is so short it doesn't bother most birds.
