Window slug

I noticed one of my cats was peering intensely at something in the window. I looked and it was a large slug about 6 inches long. How it got there I have no idea, but it seemed to not be able to get out. As the window was in the direct sunlight I was concerned it would not survive. I opened the screen and got the slug out. Of course I had to take a few photos before releasing it.

Used to get those sliming across the floor of our back room from the pumphouse 🤎🤎🖤🤎🤎

Six inches! That’s a monster! The longest I’ve seen in these parts is about 3 inches. Those critters do a number on my host as every year. Great shots!
