You might want to try River Cruises in Europe. The Rhine, Danube, Mosel and Main are all great rivers to cruise. You will visit a lot of countries. We've enjoyed 5 different European River Cruises.
The mamma was nearby, they're sneaky that way.
I really like #5 but for a competition I would probably choose #1. Depends on the judge, using the title you have chosen for this series #5 would be a winner.
I agree whole-heartedly. With practice and new ammunition available a 9mm is very effective inside 25 yards. But, practice is vital in defense against bad animals and bad guys. A cougar in the yard is not necessarily a bad cougar. A rabid fox, dog, cat, skunk, etc is a bad animal and much smaller than a cougar, therefore a harder target to hit. Know what is in back of your target, the neighbor's house is in a no-shoot area.
The key to all this is called "PRACTICE," without practice you will become the victim by the bad guy or the bad animal. Shooting the animal or person is your last resort. It is what you do when all else fails. An animal wandering through your yard is not a threat unless it is not wandering, but rather, hunting. Learn how a hunting predator acts, learn how a rabid animal acts, learn how a bad guy acts. Are you afraid of a doe deer? What if she has a fawn nearby and you don't see it, just something to consider. A female is very protective of its young. Hoofed animals are dangerous when protecting their young.
So killing a black bear with a 38 special is out of question, is that right? I know it's been done.
Sure don't want to get you in trouble with the boss, but, I like the FIRST one.
Very well done and sharp. Seen them many times.
Fantastic finish and a wonderful series. Thanks for the fun.
Made and sold when gas was $0.25 per gallon. Sometimes less.

Grrrreat Shot. That is first place in the club competition.
Great Series. Looking forward to Series 2. That must have been fun to watch.
Nice photo. American Kestrels are not hawks however. They are Falcons. This is a male. Keep on shooting, don't worry about correct identification, if you make a mistake, you will find out.
