I was showing my wife the photo of the Tetons and she said I posted the wrong one!! She likes the second photo better so, bowing to her better artistic judgment, I'll post them both here and see if you agree with her. The winner will probably end up as a 16x20 metal print!

I like #2 for the depth the foreground tree gives it. I like my landscapes to have lots of depth.

Nice composition. You've got some haloing around the prominent tree in the second image. Dial down saturation and exposure to eliminate it.
A graduated filter from the top to the base of the mtns with a touch of DeHaze will eliminate the atmospheric haze.
