My buddies' family had one, back in '72. We used to sneak out of his dad's garage...and they said the rest is history.

Nice car. I remember when Buick reorganized its line-up and introduced the LeSabre, Invicta, and Electra. We bought a 2002 LeSabre from friends, and it was a nice car - very good for long trips.

Good photo of a really pleasant car. One of my aunts had an option-loaded white Electra 225 that was very smooth-riding. Her husband set the speed alarm at 55 mph...that bugged the heck out of her.

Same place all the flowers have gone (Mamas and the Papas song from the same era) In '57 we had a Buick Century 4 door hard top that was white to top, black on the bottom with a red stripe in the middle. It was as beautiful looking as it was riding.

1961...I remember them well as I worked on them as a new car. First year of the open driveshaft & a really neat car.

Many artists performed it, but I think the Peter, Paul and Mary version was the most popular.

Here is a photo of a 1958 Buick Riviera Limited Convertible. I had one in metallic black coffee (very darkbrown). It loved gas and the babes loved it.

That was a beast of a car. They may have been huge or gas guzzlers but what style. Today every SUV look the same nothing unique and when the next years models come out, they look like the previous year.
