Today I hiked up to the top of Haskell Peak in Plumas County Ca. Once there I took a number of shots of the Sierra Buttes (along with a bunch of other pictures). After getting back to camp (RV camp, as getting to old and lazy to do real backpacking anymore) I decided to make my first Panoramic shot, so I took 3 of the images of the Sierra Buttes taken at a 200mm focal length and combined them into the Panoramic view below. I used the freeware Program from SourceForge.net called "Hugin" to create the Panorama. All questions, comments and suggestions are welcome.

great geology.
Hi bodiebill
Yep It is an impressive set of Buttes. There is a fire lookout station at the very top that you can see in the picture that is accessible to those who don't have acrophobia. It's a bit of a hike but incredible scenery. Last year I got a shot of mount Lassen and a hazy shot of mount Shasta from up there.
