I have a 500mm mirror lens and a 150-600mm zoom lens, terrific tripod and a support bracket for my long zoom lens. I’m not sure which will be best or should my 28 -135mm be good for this night sky?

I have a 150-600 zoom lens as well, and would like to know how well that lens would work myself.

The owner of a firearm may ship it to the manufacturer for repairs, and he/she doesn't need an FFL. The manufacturer can make the repairs, then ship directly to the owner.

I've used this exception with Ruger, Smith & Wesson, and Colt's Firearms.

There are some excellent and free camera educational sites on line. You may want to consider used equipment, B&H, KEH, Roberts are just a few of great used gear sellers. Roberts usually provides a 6 month warranty.

Good luck.

It clearly states “New” which by looking at the camera itself doesn’t look new. Besides, the seller is a pawn shop and I highly doubt they have new unused camera for sale. If it were me, I’d return it and keep shopping.
Good luck.

Roberts Camera in Indianapolis is also very good. 6 month warranty on used is real.

I second that suggestion. They are good and back what they sell.

Jerry,
My wife is from southern Spain (Andalucia) and they use that (th) sound for the letter S and Z. From the accents that I know of in Central and South America, they pronounce it more withOUT the Castellano accent.

Edit: Sorry, that last sentence was typed whilst I wasn't paying attention in my morning meeting :)

Hello, it has been many years since I have purchased new camera equipment. I am buying a new camera (Canon R5 w/lens). I plan to add a 77mm filter for the lens. I have not kept up with filter brands and quality. Which brands or product lines are now considered the go to? Thanks

I use B&W (clear) filters on all my lenses strictly for protection purposes only. There are many that don’t support using filters, but if you read the posting by Marge “I almost cried” then you’ll see why many people use them.
Good luck.

B&W sells filters, they don't make them.

Very helpful answer, especially when it has nothing to do with the question.

[quote=IDguy]That’s what you get for living in New Jersey. Out west, throughout “fly over country”, and in the south you will always get a “Thank You, x”. x = “sir” or “Ma'am”.

Not so much in northeast S of Maine and New Hampshire.

(PS: When I was brought up in NJ in 50s and 60s you always got a “Thank You”.)[/

Totally agree.

Almost always when I hold a door at a store I get a "Thank you.".

I’m convinced it’s a Jersey thing!

Lack of manners and rudeness seems to be the norm now. I keep holding doors open for someone, or letting them through, and rarely do I get a thank you.

Never seen such a difficult sale on this site. No pictures (we know you have a camera) and the lack of prices doesn’t help much either.
Good luck.

My youngest son is expecting his first child (which we know is a girl) any day. Due today, but she will be induced Friday week if she doesn’t go into labor first. Naturally, I’m thinking of all the photos I’m going to take of my new granddaughter when they bring her home (unfortunately grandparents are not allowed at the hospital due to the virus). My Fuji is a lot easier to carry than my Canon FF, but since I understand flash is not good for newborns (who knew?), I’ve been thinking that I don’t have a fast lens of just the right FL for available light, so, in the best UHH GAS tradition, I just ordered a Fuji XF 50mm f2 from KEH, which should be just right, and here Thursday, just in time. The moral is: any excuse will do to buy a new lens 😈.

Congratulations!
Being a grandparent has been the most heart filling experience for my wife and I. Mine are now 18, and 20 and they’ll forever be the kids.
Good health and happiness to you and the family.
