When addressing your Christmas cards, do not put apostrophe s after the name. Ex: The Jacksons
1234 Main St.
Anywhere, Anystate.
If you put an apostrophe, it's like sending a Christmas card to the house and not the Jacksons.
In other words, Jacksons is plural not possessive.
See attached.

Is it just me or does no one say you’re welcome anymore? Whenever I am out in a restaurant, store etc. and someone does something for me I say “Thank You”
Almost invariably the response in no longer “You’re Welcome” but “No Problem”
Does it bother anyone else or should I get a life and not worry about it?

That's the exact thing I was complaining about recently, only it was on TV. On the talk shows, after every interview, the interviewer says thank you and invariably the interviewee says "thank you" back. In the last several months, I've only heard one "you're welcome".
It gets annoying after a while.

These are old abandon houses in north central Kansas. Most were built in the latter half of the 19th century. The area is known for buildings, sheds and fence posts made of limestone; the most abundant material available on the prairie as trees are scarce. All are shown in black and white, converted from color. I feel black and white conveys the mood I was looking to capture. Comments welcome.

Nice abandoned house shots.

Yes! A truly amazing duet of a great song. I've actually listened to it before. Still mesmerizes.
