Go for it, i have had mine for around 7 mths and it is almost a fixture on my Canon 600d, think thats a 3ti in the US, i find it quite good, mind you i am not saying there are not better lenses out there, all depends on how deep your pockets are, ''
I live in Australia, and got mine for au$460 and have been quite plesed with it, I know the L version is better, but here in Aus its about 1000k more expensive, and my bank is not that deep,Colin

WELL, i am 77yrs old, and also play piano, I started when i was about 5yrs old, and all i can say is ,this young man is far better than me, one of the things we used to do was to learn to play in the dark, as that teaches you where the notes are on the keyboard, but unlike this young man, we could cheat, and put the light back on,
I would realy like to see, and hear just how far he progresses, in say the next ten years, what with TV, and the Internet, I think he could be a very familar name in the world of music, something like the late great Errol Garner,
Thanks for posting,

TOP TOP photos, cant realy say i have a favorite, as they are all good, well as i look at the Hog and see just how much snow you are having in the States, it sure makes me feel cold, so to remidy that, I just took the dogs out fot a walk, its not hot here, only 24c and i am wearing just shorts and tee shirt
Please keep that white stuff in your neck of the woods, yes I have experienced it, but you can keep it for me. To all Hoggers in the States, keep well, and warm, and I hope the warmer weather is with you very soon,
Oh i am in Victoria Australia, and we are now in Autumn, not had a real good hot summer this year, no 40c plus days,
Keep well everyone, and keep the photos coming, Colin

I know there will be people on the Hog who know how to do this, so can someone please help me,
I have a video clip taken with my DSLR it is 1min 23 sec long and it tells me it is 183MB, how do i send this via a E/mail,
A frind of mine has told me how to do this, but even though it appears to be sending it OK, after 40mins of trying to send and my email prog showing that only 50% had been sent, i just deleted it,
Thank you to all for all replies in advance,
i see on the hog where so many videos are sent in, where we just click on a link, is that the way to do it, and if so, HOW,
i recently watched on the hog, a video Braice sent in , on Liverpool by night, and as Liverpool is my origanal home town, i was in complete awe of his skills, which i could do that,

Wow, now these photos realy reminded me of winter in the UK, i am a Lancashire lad , and photo 4, realy reminded me of what can be expected in a English Winter
The snow isnt to bad, but when it turns to slush thats when i always felt cold,
I now live in Australia, and where i live we do not see snow in our winter, and at present its not that hot , but very pleasent, with the temps around 25-30c,nice summer temps,
Thanks for posting, as these photos of yours realy reminded me of winters in the past i had experienced, Colin,

Thank you Searcher for your help, But, i Have done as you instructed ie,, in Picasa go to tools, folder manager, and then Desktop to show where the books are stored, in this case in
Calibrie, have made sure there is a red x next to all book titles, and clicked OK, they have gone from the the Folder Manager, but not from Picasa, what have ia done wrong???

as i am not a clever bugger with computers, i am convinced its something I have omited to do, Colin,

thanks for your reply, but no you cant do that,
each book cover photo is a seperate folder, and I can not select multiple folders at once, '
the way i have to do it the slow way is, click on folder of book title, then R clk on photo of Book, then clk on stop from uploading, then delete,
if i do not clk on stop from uploading, the next time I use my laptop, the book re-loads,
as you can see its a very very slow process, thers got to be an easier way, thanks anyway colin
