Help please photos in picasa to A Mac computer

Hello every one, can anyone explain t me how I send photos from Picasa on my windows 8.1 laptop, to a friend who has a Mac computer??
have tried all sorts , the email gets through ok, but not the photos,
I have sent photos to many people who have windows, and have no trouble, but with this one, a Mac user, no luck at all

never had that problem even from windows to iphone.

Is is you or your friend? Receiving photos on a Mac can be tricky.

I have a Mac & my brother had a PC--we shared photos & never had a problem of any sorts.

I sent some pictures to my sister who has a mac and she had the same problem. It is user error on the part of the mac user. Tell them to call tech support to get help if they can't figure it out.

If the photos are in any reasonably-recognizable format (.jpg being one) -- a MAC has NO problem seeing that- recognizing its format - putting it on your system. (MACs will also accept MANY other file formats - if sender and receiver are sympatico.) Don't really understand your problem. ?

Does the attachment appear as winmail.dat? Attachments sent using Outlook and rich text format aren't read properly by non-windows systems. The sender's Outlook needs to be configured to send plain text or you can download a program called TNEF (free) on the Mac which can decode the winmail.dat file.

Perhaps your "problem" is a file that is in a cablelTVservice-server/network - or such - to which you *don't* "belong."?
If the case, sender needs to "adjust" - or you just trash it. -after telling sender you can't access files from a "closed network."

I'm kind of assuming you have a google account so why not use picasa web albums ? create an album / folder upload the images there and google will give you a link you can send to your friend.
They can be made private and just shared to someone with the link.
