why cant i get my brush tool to work?
i have a picture i am trying to restore and i cant seem to get my brush to lighten or darken the areas i would like to.
if ive already made an adjustment layer for something else.
do i make another layer to use the brush?
what type of layer?
should i be working on the background layer?
in any case whatever layer i should be on-it should be on top of all the other layers. if this is too complicated to explain, perhaps you can recommend a link? i cant seem to find one.
thank you.
rick lol. didnt have the time or energy. i havent done anything yet to the pic.
using photoshop-latest version. the sky are is not my problem its where the 2 pieces meet and are attached. thanks!
what are the best tools for removing the stick behind the pole with the number on it. i can do the sky area but the piece that is "attached"lower down is my problem.
thank you
hi. 1.ive tried undoing a spot removal in camera raw by clicking on the dot in the middle (right cllick) but it doesnt give me the option to undo...
how might i undo aa spot retouch?
2. what key is undo in camera raw?
3. where is the history in light room?-if i want to go back a few steps..
thank you
ty for responding. i would like to try one more time and see if the problem persists. ive bought a new camera...
should have written process a picture in lightroom the skin tones come out with a grayish cast. the whole picture looks like its in a light fog.
whenever i try adjusting apicture i took with on camera strobe i seem to get a grayish cast to the skin tones. these arent professional shots but better snapshots.
what could be giving this color cast?
so, it worked on most. also, is this different then clicking sync and then clicking all?
Wow. Thank u. Will try it.
The problem is I can't get it to open in acr once I opened in in Photoshop and saved it. Even if I hadn't yet saved it just exported it to open in Photoshop from acr I can't get it back in acr...
wondering how/if possible i can get into acr to retrieve a picture i have in there. after i opened the acr i noticed there was something else id like to touch up. didnt open it as a smart object.
when i went to file in photoshop -open as smart object,
i get the little box in the layers panel but no matter which way i click i cant get it back to acr ...hope i am making sense.
i really appreciate all the help i get here. this is definitely the most user friendly site i've found.
2. ive saved my pic in acr different times-after i touched up this or that how can i open photoshop in general so that it takes me back to acr-if that even exists to see the picture at the different processed steps.
thank you!
i was hoping theres a feature that would make all the pics the same as the edited one. thnak you both.
thats what i was thinking...disappointing thank you
after i touch up a picture in lightroom and want the rest of the pictures i took at the same time to look the same i highlight them all and press sync. however not all the pics change to look the same...even though everything is checked off to be synced. how can i correct this?
