I have the blue/white SATA/IDE model.
I think whether your holding it up or holding it down if it is a single attachment it is still "mono". Details, details, details. Jeez, it was just an opinion.
Just attach a piece of string or cord to the 1/4-20 thread for the tripod and make it long enough to reach the ground when you hold the camera up to your eye. Tie a flat washer on the ground end ot the string. Put your foot on the washer and lift the camera to your eye, stretching the string tight. You would be amazed how well it works. I would say this is actually the cheapest monopod. ( one piece of long string a 1/4-20 bolt and a flat washer)
The reviews I looked at for this were somewhat sketchy. Some worked some didn't. It also looks like they are making their $ with the shipping. ($4.99 to ship one and 24.95 to ship 6 pieces, give me a break) I am very leary of anyone who advertises crazy low price and gouges on shipping.
When I see shots like these I get antsy and can't wait to get a camera in my hand and get it in front of my face so I can peer through the glass. Just starting to play with the HDR aspect and have decided I like it no matter how it is used. These are beautiful pictures in a wonderful rendition. Kudos to you for sure.
Boy there sure is a lot of comments about what is actually "just a personal opinion". We all have them, it is just one part of what I call "it makes the world go round". This would be a very boring place if we all had the same thoughts and ideas.
I thought comments were just another persons "opinion", whether it be "professional" or not. I have found that most people's "opinion" can be blown out of the water depending on what they were thinking at that moment, and is purely speculation on what they assume. And we all know what we get when you break assume down. (U and me behind an ass!)
Hello everybody. I am fairly new to the digital photography world, and now have a Nikon D70. Have a lot to try and a lot to earn about this fancy contraption. It's a lot different than my first simple 35mm SLR with a light meter built in! I am looking forward to learning what I can right here.
