So, maybe a quick poll - how many users are using:
- Only Lightroom CC
- Only Lightroom CC Classic
- The entire LR universe

Classic, too often I don't have access to wifi in the field and don't use a device that works on a cell phone type data plan in order to use this "cloud" thing.

TR-3, TR4, MGA, E-Type Roadster, Mini 1275, AH Bugeye, AC Ace, AC Aceca Bristol, MGB Roadster.

Still have the two AC's for over 50 years, and the MGB for the last 20. The all still run, no thanks to Lucas, Girling etc. Lot's of spare parts in the garage, just in case.

My darkroom printing gear is all stored away collecting dust. Should just get rid of it as I can't imagine ever printing again. However I do develop my own film from my Nikon F4 and Mamiya RB-67 Pro-S, and scan the negatives on an Epson V750, that works great.

My daughter is in Iron River (on the UP). Last night she says the temp was -22 with a wind of 20 gusting 35. A bit chilly. Fortunately she can stay in the house with our 3 year old granddaughter and her husband normally only has to go as far as the church across the road where he is the pastor.

To me, my full frame camera is my RB-67 Pro S 6cm x 7cm camera (still in use). In this context my 35mm camera is much smaller in sensor/film format.

but I have had the same wife for 54 years, the same car for 15 years

Marriage wise you have me beat, we've only been married 49 years, but have had the same car for 54 years, a 1957 AC Ace, and in fact it is the same car I proposed to her in, following an SCCA road rally in 1967. A match made in sports car heaven, I had my 1957 AC Ace, she had her 1956 AC Aceca Bristol and we still have both ourselves and the cars.

Having had to respond to MVA's (motor vehicle accidents) due to motorists texting or talking on their cell phone and also accidents involving pedestrians due to persons walking across streets with their nose glued to their cell while not paying attention to traffic, we call them "those stupid phones". Yes, it's the persons fault, but without the phones, there would be far fewer accidents. Seems common sense goes out the window when a hand held phone enters the picture.

Got a 28-70 f2.8 for use on my F4 way back when.... Lens still works great so haven't upgraded to the 24-70 f2.8. Now I use it on the D850 and I prefer to keep the 28-70 since I still use the F4 a lot, as the newer gelded lens doesn't give me the aperture control with the F4 that I get with the older non-g 28-70.

I've actually only used my D90 once for video. My wife is a fan of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander books so we attended the 2013 Fergus Scottish Games in Ontario since Diana was the main speaker. This was the first (and only) time I ever used video on the D90. I found there is a 2GB limit on the record time for the video format I was using, which gave me a roughly 20 minute record time. At the end of the 20 minutes, the recording stopped, but I was immediately able to restart recording for another 20 minutes, as it just started writing a new filename of 2GB. Did this several more times as the entire seminar was a little over an hour long, and I only lost a few seconds between the 20 minute sequences. Did it hurt the camera? Not that I can tell, bought the camera in 2008 and still using it today with no problems. The camera did get a little warm during the hour long shoot, but the manual said it would get warm and not to worry.

I have heard so much good about the 70-200 2.8 FL that I am surprised you would choose the 70-300 over it.

If I was 40 years younger and able to carry a D850 with the 70-200 2.8 FL along with my 16-35 and 28-70 2.8 (which is the normally attached lens) all day long, I would take the 70-200 over the 70-300 anytime. However at my age that combo (body and three lens) is just too heavy for full time day to day carry. The 70-300 is that much lighter to make a difference. I don't expect to get stronger as I get any older so I'm just saying IF I could only have ONE 70-xxx lens it would be the 70-300. At this point I keep the 70-200 stored in a case with my other lens and take whatever I need out when I have some specific purpose in mind. Don't anyone tell me I should be changing to a mirrorless, I ain't that weak yet. Been using SLRs/DSLRs for 60 some years and not ready to change. A Dinosaur? Yes, I don't even have a cell phone so don't know, or care, what all the fuss is about with cameras in phones.
