Thank you! Yes, I was planning to continue with Adobe LR/PS also. Do you shoot RAW or Jpeg? I understand that ON1 is good for Jpeg too....I've not shot RAW, but may start.

Hoping some of you might give your advice/opinions on ON1....I currently use LR/PS ($10 per mo), however, mostly LR, as I am not very proficient in PS. ON1 has caught my eye (looks very user friendly) and they have a promo through tomorrow.

The problem with reinstalling is that I don’t think it keeps my presets.

Thank you for your advice. So currently, again, since I got my new desktop iMac, I loaded LR program onto external. If I now want to transfer all of that to my iMac, guessing I just move it from the external drive to my new iMac?
Sorry- initially, I was getting confused (even tried to talk with Adobe help several times, but they didn’t seem to have answers)....now I’m trying to remember what the issue was- I think it was that none of my pre-sets came up when I opened LR on new computer, & I was hoping not to have to re-install all of those into LR on new computer.

I'm sure a very elementary question, but I'm trying to find out if I can delete my older 'back-ups' that are saved every time I exit LightRoom (and keep just the most recent back-up) or if there is another option I should be doing? I seem to be running out of space on my laptop and I keep getting a message popping up to 'manage my files'....I have a lot of LR back-ups and I think that is taking up major space.

I couldn’t see any of my ‘collections’ - could only see ‘all photos’ (so they were all dumped together, not even categorized by dates. I think I hit ‘show filter bar’ under the View tab -not even really sure .... & I am now in the middle of some editing, so I don’t want to start hitting buttons!!

HELP!!
Hope someone can help me with this! I’ve been in LR today & was trying to add ‘key words’ to some of my ‘Collections’ (which were all labeled by date & named) i.e.:
2017-09-25 Australia
etc.
Now, I just re-opened LR & all my photos seem to be there (10K+) BUT they’re not showing up in the Collections (separate labeled collections) as they always did previously!!! Yikes!
PLEASE tell me there is something I can tweak to get them back to my original ‘viewing’??? I must have somehow ‘changed’ the view/setup??
I can see them in Library under ‘ all photos’, but they’re not ‘grouped’ together per dates as before.
