LightRoom issue- PLEASE HELP!!

HELP!!
Hope someone can help me with this! I’ve been in LR today & was trying to add ‘key words’ to some of my ‘Collections’ (which were all labeled by date & named) i.e.:
2017-09-25 Australia
etc.
Now, I just re-opened LR & all my photos seem to be there (10K+) BUT they’re not showing up in the Collections (separate labeled collections) as they always did previously!!! Yikes!
PLEASE tell me there is something I can tweak to get them back to my original ‘viewing’??? I must have somehow ‘changed’ the view/setup??
I can see them in Library under ‘ all photos’, but they’re not ‘grouped’ together per dates as before.

What was the actual problem and solution? Never had that happen to me , yet. Always nice to know what surprises lay lurking.

I couldn’t see any of my ‘collections’ - could only see ‘all photos’ (so they were all dumped together, not even categorized by dates. I think I hit ‘show filter bar’ under the View tab -not even really sure .... & I am now in the middle of some editing, so I don’t want to start hitting buttons!!

Nice thing about Lightroom Collections - they are logical collections, not physical, your images are always where they where, just grouped logically vs physically !
