Hoping some of you might give your advice/opinions on ON1....I currently use LR/PS ($10 per mo), however, mostly LR, as I am not very proficient in PS. ON1 has caught my eye (looks very user friendly) and they have a promo through tomorrow.

Curious to hear what you all think.

Thank you!

I use it and like it. There is some learning curve but plenty of you tube tutorials. The 2019 version has several improvements. I occasionally tie it in with PS Elements but use it mostly as stand alone.

I use On1 Photo Raw and have been pleased with the results. In the spirit of full disclosure I will say that I recently subscribed to the Adobe LR/PS photography bundle and that will probably be my goto photo editing tool going forward. There are other choices out there that you may wish to consider such as: CaptureOne, DxO, Luminar and Affinity. Most offer free trials of various sorts. Each has their fans and detractors.

https://www.on1.com/products/photo-raw/ Currently about $90 for new customers, but a free trial offer is available.

I may try it, but will probably also keep LR/PS as well.

Thank you! Yes, I was planning to continue with Adobe LR/PS also. Do you shoot RAW or Jpeg? I understand that ON1 is good for Jpeg too....I've not shot RAW, but may start.

I use ON1 2019 and really like it. One really nice feature is the ability to browse RAW images rather than waiting on an import. The editing features are outstanding. I am still learning to use it but I find the learning curve to be acceptable.

I use both ON1 and Luminar as LR plug-ins. I like LR’s cataloging system, but that’s probably because I started with it and am too lazy to switch to a different system. I am, though, intrigued by Luminar’s new cataloging.

I have On1 2018.5 and have barely bagan learning and applying edits when 2019vs came out. Been on the fence getting the update. But with so much positive feedback, I'm getting it.

You will not regret it, the updates are awesome. I have both and went for the On1 Photo Raw 2019 and it was a free upgrade for me.

I have used it from the beginning, iy only gets better with every new update. it does require a good computer last weeks update requires open GL 3.3 to run. They do listen to their users. I asked for text to be applied anywhere, they did it. Does all that PS and Lightroom do faster and easier. tuterals come almost weekly and their website is full of how-to videos

I use it and am very happy with it. If you qualify, you can get a significant discount.
