In my darkroom I can't make frames on my pics or make my prints look like watercolor prints, drawings or glowing colors screaming at you. I can't make uncle George look likehe is standing on a flower or put a butterfly on someones nose. I can only make contact prints from my 5x7 negs. S***, what am I still doing in this smelly place. I'm out of here.
Just finished 8 photos taken with my DIY 5x7 pinhole camera.Processed only 5 of them so far and its hard to belive the images i have. DOF & sharpness like taken with a fine lens. It just blew me away. Ilford film ,iso 100 devo. in split d-23., at f 390 .Can only contact print for now. Hoping for scanner soon.
Welcome Look to fuji for great point and shoot cameras.
Welcome back to photography. Really like that camera. Had one but i traded it in on some 35mm, i think.
This whole thing was hashed out in the 1920's . Why are you doing it again?
the pods photograph is simple and that is what makes it one that I will remember for a long time. I just love seeing photos of something that other people would walk past . To me this is photography.
Can you replace color ink with b&w ink only to print b&w prints only ? Or canyou not replace the color and use the black ink only ? I have a canon printer that has two black inks.Am i on the wrong track to remove a slight hue on my b&w prints
It just goes to show you don't really need a camera any more.A few free images, put together and there it is. Software, we love you.
Graham, you and your camera travel to some great places. The photographes you have shown to all of us and the people we see make me want to be a part of it. U.K. wish i could go. One thing I seam to notice is the lighting is so much different than the U.S. More even, less contrast.
Graham, nailed it again. Your photos over these last few weeks have been a good learning tool for me. Your doing work i wish i could do and might try it someday. Right now working on table tops.
Why would a digital photographer want his photo look like film. Why not use film . I could never understand why software can make your photo look like film when digital is the answer to all things photographic.
You know you can still buy film, use what you have and see if this hobby is for you.
All good. No. 2 very good. It seems photography is allowing you to SEE what is close to you in a new way. Keep up your good work.
