No, not all together - two separate videos.

note: I was privileged to experience live viewing of the Nat King Cole Show, short lived and discontinued because he was a black performer and NBC could not find sponsors for the show. It was an extraordinary show.

There are others of course. Jon Hendricks, Dave Lambert and Ella among them, but Mel & Sarah cannot be outperformed.

I realize many might find this monotonous, but I never grow tired of this and many other classic ballads. If you have the interest of listening to all of them, what was your favorite. Maybe you have another artist's rendition?

Great list! Some on here that I hadn't heard and I will listen to them all. Kenton's is an iconic version, and love that trombone choir!

Wes does my favorite instrumental version. Below is a link to the record and a link to a great performance filmed when Wes was in Europe. How cool it is to see Wes's unique thumb technique in that film version:

Thanks for posting your great list, Mark! I've always loved that tune.

I haven't read the whole article, but this could be good. A couple of days ago, I had a fight with my Mac over passwords. Maybe it thought it was April Fools Day, but it took me fifteen minutes to get a password to work. I'd love to get rid of my Apple passwords.

Hi everyone,

I've been using an Olympus FE-140 for a long time. Bought a second one on fleabay for cheap. One of its major problems is that the battery compartment doors break on these and you can't lock them. Good used is okay if the seller guarantees it. I'd get something fancier but I'm overwhelmed with auto problems and the cost of parts.

Thanks and be well

The first place I'd check for good used point and shoot cameras. Really good folks to do business with and really fair prices:

Apologies for some of the sameness of the views, captured low and looking up with wide angles, and presented in landscape. The film types and exposure data were extracted from an EOS 1v and merge into the scanned JPEGs. Details are available from Flickr via the image title links.

The 12-story Rookery Building is the oldest standing high-rise in Chicago, built in 1886. The building, which is a combination of iron framing and masonry bearing walls, marked a transition from masonry load-bearing structures to steel skeleton load-bearing structures.

Gorgeous photos! A city I love. I've made the drive from Minneapolis many times, and used to do some business there years ago, so I especially appreciate these shots and your descriptions. It's easy to forget the warmth that film offers, very much displayed in these shots. Thanks a bunch for posting these shots!
