Why are you selling this like new camera?

Has to do with nerve issues in my fingers. Nothing to do,with the quality of the camera. I’ll just leave it there.

I know this is a basic question but I don’t know the answer so please don’t respond like I’m an idiot. Keep the snark at the door. I’m pretty much a rookie regarding post processing having done some basic editing with JPEGS. If I want to teach myself more advanced techniques do I need to be shooting in raw or does a program like Luminar work with jpegs? I have two slots in my camera so I can shoot one in jpeg and one raw.

Have one on my XT3. I’ve read in several articles regarding the issue you describe but so far I’ve been lucky I guess. I have some nerve ending issues in my hands and the addition of the little button makes life much easier for me.

Well done Paul. Nice to see the beauty in this city that seems to have taken a turn for the worst.

I’ll never tell anyone how to spend their money but I always spend more than I want to then pay it off over time. Usually internet free. In the end it gets you a better machine that will last much longer and in the end actually cost less over time. If you can handle it you may want to think about this.

I’m in the process of selling something and am using PayPal. I got an offer to purchase and sent a money request. I was asked when I would mail it out. I asked where it was mailing to and was told New York. I said as soon as the money is in my PayPal,account but not before Tuesday because there a holiday on Monday. Response was “what holiday? How do you call it?” Then yesterday I got an email from the person on a PayPal letterhead telling me the money is in my account. Of course it wasn’t. I can’t print my response here. Made me wonder if people actually fall for this kind of scam.

Many years ago Rocky Colavito was in right field for the Detroit Rigers at the old Briggs Stadium. A ball was it into the right field corner. He fielded the ball and tried to get the runner out at third base. Unfortunately he threw the ball from the right field corner over third base, over the third base dugout and into the stands. A reporter at the time said if he did this from the pitching mound it would have been the fastest pitch ever. No one timed it but it was amazing. And I was there to see it!

This is strictly for fun (yes I know it’s a bit silly, but…) so let’s leave the potential snarks at the door!

An alien comes to Earth and creates an uncontrollable GAS attack on every photographer on earth. You have to pick one photography tool. It can be a camera, lens, lighting equipment…whatever. You get one item. Affordability aside, what do you choose?

I am currently learning to use the same camera but haven’t gotten to the CIZ section yet. However your post has certainly peaked my interest. Well done!

This is always an interesting topic. A short time ago I posted a similar question regarding taking only one lens on a trip. I got many wonderful we’ll thought out responses. I solved my on question by borrowing a friends Sony rx10 if for my trip,to Scotland in the fall. I’m currently trying to figure out the mind boggling menu system with the help of Alexander White’s instruction book. In the end, it’s whatever works for you is the best lens for what you want to accomplish on your photographic journey.

There are not a lot of topics of this camera that are recent. I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has had this camera for a while. What are your impressions? Likes or dislikes? I've been looking at this camera as another "Walk Around" as it appears, from the reviews, to have quite a bit of capability, especially for street photography.

Had one and sold it because it was way too small for my paws. I didn’t realize it was as small as it is. There was a bidding war and I wound up getting a bit more than I paid. It’s a terrific little camera if you don’t mind a fixed length lens. But as has been mentioned a zillion times on UHH, make sure it feels comfortable in your hands.

Think back to when you knew nothing about 30 megapixel sensors. Would you still want to be that person?
