Better than that we were on a video shoot in the 1970's up in the mountains east of Vancouver Canada. The director who will remain nameless was courting his soon to be wife at the time.
It took 4 of us to haul all the equipment up this 3 hour hike.
The bride and groom helicoptered in followed by the models for clothiers and fashion mags.
We get all set up. He turns to his betrothed and asks which bag that she brought up has the expensive multi rolls of film?
He married her despite her error or shall we call it omission?
His work appears in Vogue and his films have been shown at 5 international film festivals.
Sadly we have records setting amounts of forest fire smoke that will not be eliminated until precipitation and plenty of it occurs. We had a local climate meteorologist speak of the old days when we had a fire season now we have a fire year.
Several of my friends living in British Columbia have come back here to the prairies to get out of the thick smoke.
I would definitely check conditions before going to beautiful B.C.
This leaf has a disease. It is not and indication of cooler autumnal weather.
My MBP used to connect wirelessly to a Samsung ML 2165 when I was running my last OS. The Safari web browser was dated and no longer worked properly on some financial sites so I was forced to update the OS to Catalina 10.15.7
Now the printer no longer connects to the Mac. Samsung is now owned by HP and their site is of no use for finding an updated driver.
I have the last iteration prior to the OS update complete on my TimeMachine but that is hardly a convenient method of getting the printer to function.
I do a lot of printing of B&W photos for 2 people who can no longer get outdoors.
Do you know of a solution or is it yet another case of disposing of a perfectly good piece of equipment and keeping the consumer demand high to ensure the economy stays strong?
Please reply only if you have a solution to share.
Thank you
Thanks for all of your input. I'll watch the video MDI and wait until August. I've never had problems with action shots due to rolling shutter. Has anyone else? If you have a quick enough S speed I don't see there should be a problem.
Does it occur when using the green setting where the camera makes all your decisions perhaps, Architect 1776?
Anyone with experience yet with this latest of the A6000 series?
I have the original A6000 and each time they produce a newer version with more bells and whistles I'm tempted but this time I truly am expecting to jump in.
Do I dare say "smartphone?"
Small, almost always instantly available, now with multiple lenses and image quality that is tough to differentiate from the ones mentioned above.
Great action shots. The batter up missed the ball in the frame but the swing action was caught perfectly.
#2 looks so familiar the guy making a desperate play for the ball while hogging the play from the fielder who looks like she is waiting for the ball to come down directly into her glove.
Needless to say I don't play with his type anymore.
Brighten the day for all who look at this set. Thanks.
It reads like you were on a National Geographic assignment. I try to use my eye to brain memory format with a few snaps of unique areas that trigger my recall. If I'm not holding others back I can stop and try for the 5 star image that might end up printed and mounted for longer term display.
Lately my family for one and close friends for another use 2 Frameos to share keepers but never more than say 5.
Cropping the person on the left works for me.
When you wish to delete images from an SD card do you do it with the camera it has been formatted for or on the computer selecting images and then moving them to the trash?
Thanks for your reply.
Maybe time for her to bury her thoughts concerning internal combustion engine mobility and go all in on a E-bicycle or do I dare say it, explore public transit options?
Agree with all above regarding fill strobe on eyes and probably open one stop more for all the images. Number 1 if you keep the hands in they need to be in focus but I'd rather they were not part of it. I'm drawn to the left hand and what might be held by it. A light coloured cap I'm guessing?
Thanks for letting us view your work.
I'm wondering if you could tell me were you in Utah or Arizona?
