In regard to your Jackie Robinson post. Check out Luis Olmo, who was Cuban but not white.

Actually, he was Puerto Rican, according to Baseball Reference.

Thank you so much for sharing. And it is true, no matter which side of the political aisle you choose to be on. And it is true for so many other important things, as well. I will have to remember "seventeen inches". (And it is amazing how many umpires don't even hold to that boundary during a game, either. What does that tell us, too?)

When I was a kid, I used to be fascinated by getting radio station KOA from Colorado (Denver?) and KOB from Albuquerque late at night, and just fascinated that I could do that with a transistor radio, living in Los Angeles.

I also got into radio dramas because there was a flurry of info about Orson Welles War of the Worlds broadcast from 1938 (?), and I found CBS Radio Mystery Theater on my radio, and used to listen to it almost every night when I was a young teen (going to bed). It was a great listen, at least to me. Some great memories.

(In college, I got a copy of the Orson Welles War of the Worlds script and copied it by typing it out, to have for many years after, reading it and trying sometimes to make my own recreation of it. Wow.)

For my phone wallpaper, I use a photo I took in Oregon of the Total eclipse in, I believe, 2017. I believe that I took it with my phone, and it shows totality, though not as sharp as I had hoped. But it does show totality, and the area of that is kinda small and in the upper middle of the shot. So, I leave that area clear to see it among my app icons. So, I can show I have seen a total eclipse of the sun, and have a record of having been there. Glad I'm into photography. Was just starting to learn at that time.

With bearded dragons, anyone who knows about them knows you need to apply sanitary practices when handling them. I had one for 10 years, and had no troubles. In fact he used to follow us around the house when we took him out and let him have some supervised roaming. And we never had a health problem with him, because we did what we needed to care for him well. He was a great pet, also. We do miss him.

AI will never replace humans.

AI is based on the logical probabilities of sets of conditions.
Humans are based on feelings and impulse.

Yes. I feel it is much like the difference between shooting in AUTO mode versus shooting in Manual Mode (or something with some manual control).

The question about the AI is are you going to trust the AI to always make the image the way you see it when you shot it, or are you going to take control and make it (or learn how to) make it look that way yourself, so you can get it right.

I'm still learning about photography, but I have learned by hanging out here some about the level I seek to achieve as a photographer. So, thank you hedgehogs for your help and wisdom.

I thought that the EOS R6, having an RF mount, would not have a "kit" lens, and that the RF glass is supposed to be, by default, a premium glass mount.

My first stop is B&H, then Google. Amazon has become a last resort, with ten days or more to wait for a delivery.

It would be faster for me to have my stuff sent to you and have you forward it to me.

I think with Amazon, it is based on whether it is coming from the original seller, which requires them to ship it, and so it takes quite a bit longer with all of the extra steps. But if you get it from Amazon directly ("Fulfilled by Amazon" I believe is what it is called), it can be in just a couple of days. I have had some orders come very quickly.

So, you just need to check the source of where your intended order will be coming from, and decide from there. Amazon also usually gives an estimate of delivery date, and I have not had too many issues there. But I do look at my source and expected delivery date before I place the order.

On a Samsung phone, you might have a Setting called "SmartView", which will cast your phone to the TV, if it has the capability built in. If not, there is an Android app called "Play to ChromeCast", and you can cast your phone screen to the TV. I use SmartView all the time between my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone and my Samsung 8 Series 4K HDTV to watch movies or YouTube or baseball games, and the quality is usually outstanding.

(Now, if I could figure out how to do something as easily to cast my laptop to the TV, I would really be somewhere.)

(PM to me if you have any related questions on this, if needed.)

I went to Google, and found something at this web site. Go and have a look, and see if it will do as you desire:

Hope it works. (I have no stake in this, and get nothing for this, in case that may come to mind. Just trying to assist.)

Before I retired, I had passwords (yes multiple ones) that I had to change about every 3 months. I learned to pick a wild word, and in the middle, put in 2 characters (usually numbers) for the month and year. You could use zero for January or one. Then October would be 9 or zero. Foe Nov and Dec, you could use A and B. Then you could use virtually the same password, just changing the month as needed, and the year, too. Worked for me for more than 20 years.

I also used an Excel spreadsheet for other passwords that I didn't use so often. I would then make up a name for the file and require a password to open it. Then I took a part of the password and included it into the filename, but where I would always remember the password from the clue in the filename. That worked for me for more than 20 years, as well (for work and outside of work).

Just a couple more ideas that might help.

OUT FREAKING STANDING!!!!! (and yes, I meant the emphasis by using all caps. No trouble intended to anyone, and I do not mean to offend anyone or break any rules (if I did I am sorry), but this was quite outstanding, considering all the aspects of this year.)

As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, I hated the Big Red Machine (though I loved that powerful name). The Dodgers wanted to emulate that, and, I believe, in the late 70's or early 80's became the Big Blue Wrecking Crew (which I loved even more). I had to give the reds their fair shake since the Dodgers did copy them, to some degree.

It is frustrating knowing that the team has issues in the postseason, and had a World Series cheated away from them (and Joe Kelly is a hero right now!!!) in 2017. Yup, another postseason issue. Oh, well, but it makes baseball so enjoyable.
