Better check your pet hedgehog.
Ahhh!! How can something so sweet be dangerous? Mahalo for sharing.
Salmonella is not generally a problem if you cook the hedgehog really well before eating it.

A long known and well advertised problem.
Does this mean that I will have to shave my bearded dragon? She is NOT going to like that!
With bearded dragons, anyone who knows about them knows you need to apply sanitary practices when handling them. I had one for 10 years, and had no troubles. In fact he used to follow us around the house when we took him out and let him have some supervised roaming. And we never had a health problem with him, because we did what we needed to care for him well. He was a great pet, also. We do miss him.
