Z Mount on Z9
And here's a Z9 owner, after the lens being hit with a ball, the mount held, Funny how we judge without all the facts...

"Apparently when the ball hit my 70-200 on Z9, there was some damage. I just saw it today. There's a chunk of metal missing in this section. Now I checked the Z9 and its mount seems pretty much intact. I wonder where that metal piece went. Probably when I took off the lens, it dropped off. Do you think it could have stayed in the camera somehow? I'll go to the Nikon service tomorrow anyway but wanted to check with you."

"Thee" or "Thuh"?

Extending my wi-fi
Try moving the router closer to the deck, higher sometimes helps. At times all it takes is a few feet, if that. I had the same issue, moved mine a couple feet. All is good.

Although I understand your point, one doesn't join an auto club or hang out at car dealerships for months then decide to purchase. He needs a car, he goes to a dealer. Sometimes in 2 days. Perhaps he's a member of other sites and was directed here...sucks we've become so suspicious of everything.
